Painting Live at the Consulat de Monte Cristo

 

The Consulat is a Wonderful Place to Enjoy Art.

It is hard to describe the joy of hosting an art appreciation event at the Consulat de Monte Cristo. The Consulat hosted an Art appreciation night during Bellingham's "First Fridays Downtown" event. The Count had stopped by to personally check on preparations and to make sure that anything and everything was just right; he is an artist, a gentleman and a fine patron of the arts. After the first 100 visitors, it became too busy to paint much, as conversations and observations were lively. The alley tables were open and people were having a great time. The evening was over in what seemed like an instant, and was so much fun. The picture is of the alley without tables and chairs, after hours.
