Bellingham Historical Building - Ceiling Mural

 This painting was made on the library ceiling of a historic 1890 building in Bellingham the "Hotel Montreal."  It took 3.5 weeks to complete. It is my original work with some of the idea inspired by an old Heidelberg astronomical chart. Among the unique features is the variety of Northwest indigenous animals found in the ring around the Northern sky.
