This Ganesha painting was commissioned by a great fellow. He had a very natural communication with me. The subject is not my personal religious belief, so that much of the info had to be supplied by the client. The Ganesha is an old story, and everything in this painting is a part of that story. In case you care to know... what is my religion? Christianity. My belief is it is important to be respectful of others, even if they have different beliefs. Thank you, Raul. Thank you for visiting. Producing art is my goal. I have enjoyed hosting and teaching art at numerous workshops in the Bellingham Library, am Bellingham's AirBnB art experience artist, have owned and managed an award winning art gallery, painted live numerous times including at the Consulat d' Monte Cristo where I was host of "An Evening of Art at the Consulat," painted live at and all around the Hotel Bellwether and have produced large scale art as well most recently at the Hotel Montreal (bldg year 1890) on the library ceiling. A recent fun gig was an invite to paint live from the Lynden Music Festival; it was so fun. Thanks for looking at this site.
