Pastel Works...

These pastel drawings bring back memories of many trips to one of the most beautiful parks in the world. The infamous Vancouver BC Seawall now extends around this very beloved city.

The Seawall in Stanley Park, Vancouver BC Canada. The Stanley Park Seawall is a fine place to walk, run, bike and just take any friend or family there! The Vancouver BC Aquarium is in Stanley Park as well.
Stanley Park's famed Seawall. The rocks in the water represent my friends Mike and Val; rocks in the lives of their lucky friends like me.

This pastel with the swan in it is an older pastel of Lost Lagoon at Stanley Park in Vancouver BC. It is one of my most favorite places to go, and believe it or not the colors are accurate! There are swans and grebes in this soft pastel work, which was done on location. Those soft French pastels are the best as far as I'm concerned. Sennelier (Spell check?) is of incredible quality for softness and pigmentation. Hooray again for the French and their fabulous soft pastels!

Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoy it.
