Telegraph Cove and Seals

Telegraph Cove Seals

This small painting was one of my earlier BC Canada paintings and was the fourth painting stolen from me. I was lucky and able to recover it as it was on display in a business that I happened to visit! Small world.

Telegraph Cove is from the day when telegraphs from this North Vancouver Island station were the only way to send and receive messages. The bright red old mill is now for tourists as are the shops and nice lodge in immediate proximity. The only reason seals are looking around is that apparently there are no orca whales about, at the moment!
